Rates for Do-It-Yourself Trips to Pack Creek

Rates are predicated largely on the cost of round trip floatplane transportation from Juneau to Windfall Island, where our kayaks are stashed in the forest just above the beach.   This should make it affordable to do the longest trip you have time for, which, after all, is what a visit to a pristine Wilderness is all about!

Rates also depend on your group size and number of days of the trip,  varying with plane capacity and the amount of gear involved.

Day trip rentals or 1 night trips are not recommended due to the logistics, equipment, and flying costs involved for just one night of camping.  Thus rates start with the Basic 3 Day/2 Night Package, as outlined below.   If you choose to stay just one night the rate is the same.

Basic 3 Day/2 Night Package

• Roundtrip floatplane from Juneau Airport to Windfall Island, by Pack Creek
• 3 days of kayak rentals, with paddles, spray skirts, life vests, accessories
• Safety Package: marine radio, bear spray canister, first aid kit
• Map and detailed Information Packet with camping and kayaking recommendations

Rate:

$475/person for groups of 3-8
$575/person for party of two

Extra Days: for trips longer than 3 days, just add $75/person

Camping and Food Packages: You can rent items ranging from rubber boots and rain gear, to sleeping bags and pads and tents, to stove and cook kits.

We can also shop for and pack your food.  Contact us for details.

Reservations and Payment:

Call or email with your dates and I will email you confirmation, including exact price. No deposit is necessary. One month before your trip please send a check payable to Pack Creek Outfitters for the full amount. (Sorry, with only a few dozen customers a summer I am not set up to handle credit card payments.)

You may cancel for any reason 48 hours prior to your departure for a full refund less a $100 fee. No same day cancellation refunds except for weather.
